Jenayalynn Riojas
One of Jenayalynn's main focuses is assisting families in maintaining their dignity by handling their conflict with respect and dignity. She began Integrative Conflict Resolution (previously TLS Family Mediation) due to her passion for preventing and assisting with conflict.
Jenayalynn has served her country in the military which instilled in her a strong dedication to serving others as well as the ability to organize people. She worked in the commissioning office at the US Naval Academy reviewing the fitness of midshipmen for duty. This taught her problem solving skills as she was able to assist many seemingly unfit young people to serve their country. She has also served her country as a civilian which has further instilled in her the urge to help those who need direction. She was the administrator of two government offices within the National Institute of Health because of her ability to organize projects.
She has also been married and experienced her own divorce with young children navigating her way through the court process. She has made the best of all of her experiences knowing that the reason is to help others going through the same. She maintains a positive co-parenting relationship with her children's father and models the advice she gives each day. Her service comes from the heart.
After completing her undergraduate degree in Public Safety she trained to become a mediator in Atlanta, GA at the Justice Center of Atlanta, Inc. in a program approved by the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR). The ACR certifies the training that is required by the state of North Carolina. She is now studying towards her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family therapy. She also maintains memberships at the NC Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section and the NC Association of Professional Family Mediators.
Now Jenaya runs her own mediation practice as well as consults with other mediators. Conflict resolution is her passion she desires to assit individuals and companies with all of their conflict resolution difficulties.
