What can we talk about in mediation?
Anything and everything you want to talk about. There are no off limits topics. Anything that you feel needs to be documented in the agreement can be documented. Anything from co-parenting to whether or not there should be outside sexual partners or not in your trial separation.
What if we can't agree on everything?
Then we document what you did agree on and list a summary of what still needs to be worked out at the end of your MoU. You can enter into a partial agreement and utilize your collaborative lawyers for the rest.
How is a mediator paid?
Personal check, cash, money order, Paypal, Credit Card Swipe
Fees & Affordability
We utilize both a fixed & hourly payment structure to maximize your savings. Clients who are motivated and take care of "homework" in a timely manner spend less. We also offer payment plans.
Typically you will spend less than $3,000.
What is Homework?
Work you do in between sessions to obtain information needed (i.e., appraisals, bank account statements, investment statements, W-2's, etc.)
How long will it take?
Each session is usually 2 hours long but is adjusted depending on client preference. Depending on how complex the elements of your dispute are, mediation could take about 6 to 10 hours or more.
